The Santa Cruz County Veterans Memorial Building is a 501c.3 non-profit venue providing space to the community for meetings, classes, workshops, concerts, dance productions and other performing arts events.
The Veterans Memorial Building	Registered as an historical landmark and built in 1932, the Veterans Memorial Building reflects the historic nature of downtown Santa Cruz. While the facilities have undergone significant upgrades including a complete ceiling renovation in 2007, great care and and appreciation for the building's exquisite charm and beautiful mission architecture have been retained. With an experienced staff eager to meet your needs, the Veterans Memorial Building offers spaces on three floors to suit a wide range of rental needs.

The Ballroom
The Ballroom features removable seating on a 2,400 square foot maple hardwood floor, a stage and a balcony containing 84 fixed, raked seats. The ballroom can be configured for your special event: a seated recital, a dance concert, a reception or exposition. The Banquet Room
The Banquet Patio Area	With a capacity of 180, our Banquet Room can be customized for your event, and features a full commercial kitchen and beautiful outdoor patio. "The Bill Motto Room" features douglas fir wood floor, vaulted art deco beam ceiling, large windows with stylish drapery, a fireplace and sound system. Ideal for meetings, lectures, movement and yoga workshops, receptions and private parties. Chairs, tables, podium, public address/microphone sound system, yoga mats and props, DVD/MP3/VCR and TV available upon request. The Pogonip Room	"The Pogonip Room" features a maple hardwood floor, one wall of full-length dance mirrors (6' x 28'), state-of-the art sound system with 6-channel amplifier (with inputs for your iPod or laptop) and CD/DVD player, chandelier and track lighting, a wall full of windows and is ideal for meetings, classes, movement, dance, yoga, rehearsals and classes.
