The historic Veterans Memorial Building is the perfect setting for your wedding day.

From a do-it-yourself reception to a striking ceremony with a luxurious full-service reception to follow, the Veterans Memorial Building offers the options and flexibility to accommodate your every need. Three levels with unique rooms of varying sizes are available separately or in combination.
The Ballroom
Our beautifully restored 1930's era Ballroom provides a classic elegance for your wedding.
Amenities include:
  • Dramatic, beautifully restored art deco ceiling
  • 2,400 square foot maple wood floor
  • 500 square foot stage with drapery
    suitable for DJ or live music
  • Projector and 12’ x 12’ projection screen
  • Professional sound and lighting
  • A choice of round or rectangular tables and chairs

The Banquet Room, Patio and Kitchen

Ideally integrated on one level, these three spaces form a wonderful indoor/outdoor venue for up to 300 guests. The area is fully accessible and combines one of downtown Santa Cruz’s most ornate outdoor gardens with a fully functional banquet room and kitchen.

The Post Room
You’ll feel the warmth and charm of our Post Room with its handsome art deco ceiling, fireplace and elegant window adornments and drapery.
The perfect space for smaller receptions of 100 or less. Features a 1,400 square foot douglas fir wood floor, fireplace and in-room CD sound system.
We also offer:
  • Concert quality sound system for band or DJ
  • A bride’s dressing room
  • A groom’s dressing room
  • Professional catering services
